In July 2011, Heritage Works completed a Conservation Management Plan and Options Study for Murgatoryd's No 1 Brine Pump in Middlewich, a scheduled monument. The study was commissioned by Middlewich Town Council and funded by English Heritage:

"….I think it is a really good and useful piece of work…. congratulations for a highly professional job"Dr Jennie Stopford, Inspector of Ancient Monuments for Cheshire, Lancashire and Merseyside English Heritage

English Heritage, the local authority and other partners funded a study to explore options for a difficult site comprising several listed buildings at risk in Greater Manchester in 2010:

"We would like to thank Heritage Works and their team for producing such a well informed and carefully considered report along with those who have helped to commission and oversee the production of the options appraisal. I know that everyone involved is trying hard to find a solution where as much of the farmstead's historic fabric as possible can be saved."

English Heritage, North West Region

"Heritage Works demonstrated a very sensitive and balanced approach to this difficult project. The passion and commitment shown by the Heritage Works' team in very trying circumstances has been excellent." Mike Worden, Head of Planning & Transport, Wigan Council

In December 2008, Heritage Works was commissioned by 2020 Liverpool, on behalf of Liverpool City Council, to explore the potential for repair and re-use of the derelict grade 2 listed Fire Station on Durning Road, Liverpool. Our client, 2020 Liverpool, was very pleased with the work that Heritage Works was able to complete in a very limited timescale.

"I would just like to say how much I have enjoyed working on this particular commission. Given the extremely tight deadlines I have been impressed with the professionalism of all those who have been involved, and their individual efforts to ensure deadlines have been met (client included).

It is refreshing and satisfying to have been able to work in a very open and transparent environment where everyone has felt able to freely provide their views, opinions and technical solutions. Believe me it is rare to find this commitment in an entire team, never mind one which has been brought together through circumstance rather than design."

Ian Weir, Divisional Director,2020 Liverpool
